Keep the outer space safe in Rocket Riot the addictive tap and draw space game where you are the busiest space traffic controller in the Universe. In Rocket Riot you must keep the outer space safe by controlling rockets towards multi-colored planets. Simply tap on a rocket and draw a path towards a planet that matches its color. While this sounds incredibly easy (and it is), as the game progresses there are more and more rockets, rockets increasing in speed, planets rotating, and asteroids crowding the Universe. All the rocket traffic will need to be safely routed while avoiding all collisions. Rocket Riot quickly becomes a frustratingly-addictive experience as you try to beat your own and others high scores, unlock achievements, and access the online leaderboard.

To do that simply tap and drag a rocket towards the destination planet. Careful though, if 2 rockets collide, you hit an asteroid, or run into a game boundary, it's over.

Rocket Riot Setup Configuration


  • The app is written to use unity ads. To update the app to use ads under your unity account do the following:
    • Go to Window > Services > Settings > Unlink Project
  • Follow onscreen steps to link project to your unity account

Google Play Game Services - SETUP

  • This app is written to store achievements and track high scores with Google Play Game Services. Follow these steps to setup Google Play Services in your Google developer account.
  • Create a high score leaderboard. See below for high score leaderboard configuration.
  • Take id (location of blue cross out in image above) and open Asset\Scripts\GPGSManager.cs. Locate the variable called “leaderboard_highest_scores” and replace the value with the id of the high score leaderboard you created.
  • This app awards achievements when 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 rockets are routed successfully. Follow the picture below to see how the achievements are configured in the Google Play Developer Console.
  • Take the ids generated when achievements are created (Blue cross out in image above) and open Assets\Scripts\GPGSManager.cs and fill in the appropriate variable values with the id of the corresponding achievement.
  • If you are wanting to change how many achievements there are or when they are awarded, you will need to locate the achievement business logic which can be found at Assets\Scripts\UserManager.cs
  • In Google Play you will need to link apps to the Google Play Game Service for each type that will be sharing the service (Android, IOS, etc.). Follow the steps in the Developer Console to create each link.
  • Once the links are created, click into the each link and get the id. Take the id and put the value into the appropriate variable in Assets\GooglePlayGames\GameInfo.cs. See the image below where you can find the application id and the client id. (Note: The game info class has a variable for ios and web but not android. The android client id will be the same as the ios id so don’t worry!)

Building for IOS\XCode

  • This can be a little tricky so steps are provided at Builds\IOS\StepsToBuild.txt. (Note: You need to follow the previous steps in this document to have the application identification numbers ready.)


  • Android and IOS builds (IPA/APK) can be found in the Builds folder.
